Black Lives: Between Grief and Action

This article is a basic overview of what has happened in the last year between minorities and the Countries law enforcement. The first two paragraph speaks on the people that have been killed by the police in their state, but the part that I felt was most significant was how it said that these officer aren't “going rogue” in white neighborhoods communities because those communities have the economic and political resources to discipline them. Once I thought about that statement I thought about the case back home in Detroit when the S.W.A.T team member killed a seven year old girl in a raid, and also how a white male in the suburbs verbally and physically assaulted the officer and didn't get any charges placed on him. The same happened with the officer that killed young Aiyana Stanley-Jones,no charges.

Mike Brown Jury Mistake

This video explains the reason why officer Daren Wilson was found non-guilty for the shooting of Mike Brown in Ferguson,Mississippi. Right before the jury was about to deliberate over what punishment the officer would face the assistant district attorney Ms. Alizadeh handed each member of the jury a section of the Mississippi Law that stated that what the officer did was justified as soon as Mr. Brown started to run away from the officer. But what the jury didn't know about that article is that it was from the 1970 and ruled unconstitutional by the government. That rule has never been in use during her whole career as an assistant district attorney.

Brainwashed

White supremacy is unjust but is the umbrella we have been placed under whether we know it or not. Not only does white supremacy define but the whole theory of such molds our minds into an false illusion of being less then and always having to compete since we are told we do not care when in actuality we are just as equal or even better. We as people look down on ourselves because we are conditioned to and are not aware of the wrongdoings because we are so blinded. So blinded to fact that we believe as a society "whites are better" with no reasoning for such but simply because that is what we are programmed to think.
